What is Spleeter?
Spleeter is Deezer's open-source source separation library, written in Python on TensorFlow, with pretrained models that split a song into stems: vocals and accompaniment (2 stems), vocals, drums, bass and other (4 stems), or vocals, drums, bass, piano and other (5 stems).
Deezer reports that the 2- and 4-stem models perform strongly on the musdb benchmark and that it can separate audio into 4 stems about 100 times faster than real time on a GPU. It runs from the command line or as a Python library, installs with pip or Docker, and can be used to train your own separation models.
