What is OpenFilm?
OpenFilm is an open-source AI video agent toolkit: install it as a skill (npx skills add openfilm/openfilm) and Claude Code, Codex or any coding agent can make a film. The agent writes the film as web pages, where each shot is a page that draws any moment with one frame(t) function using CSS, SVG, canvas, WebGL, three.js or video, and film.html cuts the pages, footage, pictures and sound together on tracks.
Studio, a local editor that runs in your browser (or in the macOS and Windows desktop app, with a chat for your agents beside it), shows the film taking shape and lets you change any text, color, element or clip by hand. It renders MP4 up to 4K, GIFs, transparent video, stems, subtitles and timelines for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve; generated voice, music, images and video come from services you connect with your own keys.

ComfyUI
Node-based open-source engine for image and video generation workflows. Run models like Wan, LTX and Hunyuan locally or in Comfy Cloud, with an agent that builds workflows.
html-video
Lets your coding agent turn HTML, CSS and data into real MP4 videos on your own machine, with templates and pluggable render engines.
onetake
onetake is an agent skill for Claude Code and similar agents that makes product launch films, teasers and feature demos as one continuous camera move, where each beat grows out of the previous one instead of cutting between slides. The agent writes the motion as code and renders it with ffmpeg, and the skill checks continuity at every transition. The free edition on GitHub is for noncommercial use; onetake Pro adds a camera operator that follows each beat, source files for every example film, starter templates and a commercial licence.
ManimGX
ManimGX, from Academa, is an open-source animation engine for AI agents that renders math and 3D explainer videos from Manim CE's Python API on a Rust and wgpu GPU core, many times faster than Manim CE, and can also run in the browser.
Morph Studio
AI suite for text to video, image to video, style transfer and video enhancement on one canvas.
Hypit
An open-source agent workflow that takes a viral short video and rebuilds it as an editable template, letting you swap the presenter, script, voice and B-roll to produce many new variants with your own API keys.
