What is Krita AI Diffusion?
Krita AI Diffusion is a plugin that brings generative image AI into the Krita painting app. Instead of generating whole pictures from a prompt, it focuses on control: you can restrict generation to a selection, refine existing content at a chosen strength, focus text on regions, and guide results with reference images, sketches, line art and depth maps.
It runs on a local ComfyUI backend that the plugin can install for you, so it works offline and free on your own GPU; the maker also offers an optional paid cloud service (Interstice) for people without suitable hardware.
