What is Herdr?
Herdr is a runtime for running and managing many coding agents side by side. It owns their terminals rather than wrapping or replacing the agents, so it works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Grok and others.
Terminals keep running in a background server when you close the client or lose an SSH connection, and after a restart herdr restores the saved layout and can resume supported sessions. It combines local and SSH machines in one window, marks every pane as working, blocked or idle, and lets agents drive it through a CLI and socket API.
