What is DeepChat?

DeepChat is an open-source, local-first AI agent desktop client that puts models, tools, skills, agent runtimes and long-running sessions in one app. It works with cloud APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini and Anthropic and with local Ollama models, and any provider in those API formats.

Sessions follow a 'keep the process' design, so context, tool calls and results stay recoverable and inspectable. It has strong MCP support, installable and exportable skills, Agent Client Protocol (ACP) integration for coding agents, and remote control of sessions from Telegram, Feishu/Lark, QQBot, Discord and WeChat.
