What is CLI-Anything?
CLI-Anything, from the HKUDS lab, turns existing software, codebases and web APIs into agent-native command-line interfaces, so AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenClaw, nanobot and Pi can operate that software without a GUI.
Generated CLIs are published to CLI-Hub, a community registry you use with pip install cli-anything-hub and cli-hub install <name>, or hand to an agent as a skill. The project's demos show agents driving FreeCAD, Blender and draw.io through generated CLIs to finished CAD models, 3D scenes and diagrams, and a technical report is on arXiv.
